I heard that there is a strike starting from today and will last a few days, I wonder:
1. Does it affect the local (within Berlin) city
2. It says that the strike will be effective until 2am, Friday, 13 August. So if a long-distance train from Berlin to Amsterdam probably is okay…?Hey Dorothy,
1. Yes, but it affects the S Bahn only as it is part of the Deutsche Bahn.
2. For the long-distance train it will most likely be problematic unless it is a foreign company (dutch railway) and not run by Deutsche Bahn.Thank you Svenja (:D)
I still have a follow up question, if the ticket was bought from another app (but not from DB directly). Do you know if there is any refund? Or it is really case by case and depends on the T&Cs?Thank you!
